The session aims to explore and promote effective multi-level governance strategies that facilitate the integration of local insights, knowledge, and initiatives into the broader national and EU climate goals and policies. The focus will be on how to best address energy poverty, including the importance of collaboration and coordination between local, regional, national, and EU institutions. The panel includes coalition member BPIE’s Rutger Broer and are all set to discuss inter alia how the new Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and the Social Climate Fund can help those working to prevent energy poverty.
