‘Just Right’, our eight-point plan on securing sustainable, renewable and affordable heating and cooling (H&C) by 2040 (also affectionately known as ‘Goldilocks’), has been warmly welcomed by aligned organisations and the clean heating and cooling industry.
Since making her début on 19 March, Goldilocks has been on quite a number of outings, including to the Brussels Press Club, European Climate Foundation’s Fossil Free Days, to a network meeting in Prague, to Dublin for a ministerial meeting, to a very glamorous European Heat Pump Association gathering and to the hallowed offices of Euroheat&Power.
It’s very exciting to share the policy proposals and talk with the many smart and determined people working for the clean heat transition about the best pathways towards renewable, affordable and sustainable heating and cooling. For sure, the sense of a #CoolHeatingRevolution is in the air!
Don’t forget to tune in for our first webinar ‘Fahrenheit 2040: heating and cooling in the EU’, featuring options for heating and cooling decarbonisation by 2040, based on the Öko-Institut’s assessment of the current EU policy framework.
Coincidentally noting that Ursula K. Le Guin is also quoted on coalition member Energy Cities website, we leave you with this thought:
“You cannot buy the revolution. You cannot make the revolution. You can only be the revolution. It is in your spirit, or it is nowhere.”
