Panel Discussion: How clean heat can slash air pollution and reduce social costs
Clean Heat Europe’s recently-released report showcased that deploying clean heat is absolutely critical for slashing air pollution.
In fact, when calculating annual health-related social costs from heating and cooling, both by household and by heating technology, the worst offenders are the same: wood, coal, oil and gas. These fuels pollute our air, harm our health, and drive up social costs across the continent.
Next week, 6 November 2025, Clean Heat Europe invites you to join an in-person event at TownHall Europe, in Brussels. It will feature a presentation of our recent report findings, and will lead into a timely panel discussion with the following expert speakers:
– Sven Dammann (DG CLIMA)
– Valérie Séjourné (Solar Heat Europe)
– Anna Zsofia Bajomi, PhD (FEANTSA)
