You’re in luck, because the Cool Heating Coalition is seeking a junior policy officer to join our team. The position aims to support the coalition’s policy development and advocacy efforts.

This role involves evaluating financing gaps in the transition to decarbonised, renewable and affordable heating and exploring policies such as subsidy schemes and investment support. The junior policy officer will work closely with the coalition’s senior policy officer and director to develop policy strategies and advocate for the decarbonisation of heating and cooling in Europe.

Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in energy or finance policy, EU politics, or related fields, with a focus on heating policy. Excellent communication skills, the ability to produce impactful reports, and a deep understanding of EU policy processes are key requirements. A strong commitment to the coalition’s mission, as well as effective project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, will ensure success in this role.
